Where have we been!?
Well all of March has passed since we been around but there's a lot happening! Here's a small update to
keep you in the loop.
-
Our good friend Noah has released his first full length album under his solo ambient project
16:9 Ratio. This is personally a release I've been anticipating since he started
his live work here in Ottawa. Me and Noah actually have a lot of overlap in taste when it comes to
Ambient works and his stuff is genuinely some of my fav modern ambient coming out today. I swear I
have created a whole internal world though the help of the soundscapes he has created that I can now
slip into at will with his release Our Keyboards,. He put so much work into this
project it is so cool to see a complete album. This album is single handily getting me through a
tough finals week. Take some time and give his work a listen: [Bandcamp / Spotify]. Beautiful work, Noah!

Adil, our talented cinematographer, has outdone himself lately blessing us with two live recordings
for both our bands ################## and moridori both are hosted on
each bands respective youtube channels [### / moridori]. This was some of our best
sets and in my opinion moridori's best set to date. Thank you again Adil for all your work
documenting this scene. Feel free to see the set through Adil's perspective, take a look! (Can't
host on the website any more running out of space ðŸ˜).

I've spent one manic night working on the ################# site for
##################. All in prep for our (in real emo fashion) two song
demo: PUNCHING UP DEMO (Spotify). Included is "honda civic" and "burial rites". This
marks the first time me and doriniko have published anything using conventional methods. Personally
I would like to dedicate this first release to well, #### and Nicky,
the vocalist and bassist of ###. Thanks for putting up with us this
long to the point we have something on spotify (finally). It's a indescribable feeling to accomplish
such milestones with dear friends, thank you for seeing this battle through to many more such
victories. Additional thanks to Bea and Anna for inspiring the guitar on honda civic, its small and
maybe silly to be thankful for such a thing, ambient and background in nature, but I'm proud of the
process that created such a phrase. To me it sometimes makes it mean more to acknowledge what led up
to a certain moment and take in the totally of such a small but significant (now) memory than it is
to just reap it's fruits of what it produced. Anyway can't put that lame sincerity on ### as any sort of significant feeling left us a long time ago. Listen
to our death rattle, please it's all that's left.

In other news ################## also plays A show Saturday April 12 @
St James United Church (650 Lyon St S). Catch us there it's a never before scene lineup, once in a
lifetime. Can't wait to play it.

Last but not least moridori's first studio release Golden Garden, Silver Angels
goes out on spotify tonight. We keeping it lowkey: LINK.
Stay tuned for for more updates a lots planned for the summer. If your doing finals rn, you'll get
through it I believe in you. I've been blessed with beautiful dreams and a newfound perspective can't
wait to share it with you all. Yours always, moridori.
