RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is just a simple way to give updates. It works just like subscribing or following someone. When Mori Dori publishes an update your feed will be updated. It's all managed just by a file hosted on the site (https://moridori.xyz/feed.rss) that you put into your RSS feed reader. All the feed reader does is check the file periodically and update you if there is a change. No need for any middle men, thus keeping us independent. It's an open standard and actually used quite commonly when ever you see this image: its either referring to RSS or has it's own feed. RSS Feed Reader Unfortunately you need a feed reader to subscribe to RSS feeds so it's just another app, but these will work with any kind of RSS feed, useful for news, other sites and podcasts. On my desktop I even use an RSS feed reader to subscribe to youtube channels without ever having to open the site in my browser. On Android I use Feeder On Desktop I use Newsboat and have tried Newsflash and liked it (these are both Linux apps though) I only wanted to speak to what I have experience with, when looking for one all you need to search is for an "RSS feed reader". I would suggest to try to go with free (libre and gratis) software.
